VDLA prepared a comprehensive trails master plan for this 1,488-acre community development. The trail system provides diverse opportunities for hiking, bicycling, mountain biking and equestrian recreation within the community and adjacent properties.  It also provides connections between regional parks, the San Bernardino National Forest, neighborhood parks, residential neighborhoods, schools and open space. Many of the existing and planned trails traverse through or are near scenic overlooks. VDLA inventoried existing trails using Global Positioning System (GPS) technology and was responsible for preparing a comprehensive Trails Master Plan, conceptual sections, elevations and plans for features including trail head signage, overlooks and various trail types.
