La Colonia Park Veterans Courtyard

VDLA worked with a committee of veterans and supporters to develop conceptual plans and construction bid documents for a courtyard garden area within La Colonia Park that will honor the veterans of Solana Beach. The courtyard garden features built-in seating, benches, landscape plantings for shade and seasonal accent, and a Mexican themed  water feature- all designed to blend with the architectural character of the La Colonia Park Community Center and the heritage of the Eden Gardens neighborhood. Veteran honorees will be identified on individual donor tiles in the courtyard paving.
