I-10 Corridor

Coachella, CA

 

VDLA worked with the County of Riverside Transportation Department and Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) to develop interchange improvements along the I-10 Corridor through the desert cities of Coachella Valley.  Each of the nine (9) freeway interchanges featured concept designs to help reduce dust and erosion using low growing native plant materials and locally sourced stone or boulders. The concepts for each interchange also featured a concrete and corten steel thematic element highlighting attractions specific to each city.
