Nokia Product Creation Center

VDLA designed all landscape architectural features at the Product Creation Center for Nokia Mobile Telecommunications. A dynamic 10,000 sf courtyard for outdoor meeting spaces and employee use features an 80-foot long radius wall slicing through the space, separating vehicle parking from the sunken courtyard.  Planting themes transition from arid 'desert' areas to a riparian 'oasis' in the courtyard, which features boulder outcroppings and a cobble stream. Native plantings and drought-tolerant succulent plants were emphasized in the design, with water-conserving irrigation technologies utilized throughout.
