VDLA served as the landscape architect subconsultant to PSOMAS for the Catalina Street / El Camino Del Mar / Los Robles permanent roundabout project for the City of Laguna Beach, CA. The scope included preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for the construction of a permanent roundabout. Design included landscape plans for planting and irrigation in the center of the roundabout and new parkways mindful of pedestrian and vehicular circulation needs, including consideration of sight restricted areas. Conceptual landscape plans were presented at two design review board meetings and two public outreach meetings.
