The Gillispie School

VDLA provided landscape architectural services to The Gillispie School in La Jolla for a new artificial turf sports field, 'Field of Dreams' which was built upon an adjacent lot and provides connectivity to the existing school. The project also included an amphitheater style outdoor seating area for instruction, and a donor wall to recognize contributions to the project. VDLA also provided services for the subsequent Science Bungalow project adjacent to the new field, designing a new outdoor learning area with garden boxes and interactive space. Scopes for both projects included design, assistance with documentation and permitting through the City of San Diego, and construction administration.
